Yyyyeah - I’m gonna need an hour or better to decipher this tract, and I’m a little busy here.

(But I must first pretend that separation between megachurch and state actually exists!)

Assay writes in CO Springs which as we all know is the epicenter of Evangelical nuttery (2nd only to UT in overall US religious nuttery).

I think ‘ol Chuck is just pushing buttons here with no thought to overall coherence - “Abortion bad! Bible good! Secularists not know it all!”.

Separation of Crutch and State is a Myth.

I get it, and I feel and think the same. One thing I’ve loved in this campaign so far is how things like Abortion and Gay Marriage haven’t been at the forefront.

I think Asay is calling attention to the fact that Christian Conservatism is taking a back seat, but that other theories, and maybe even facts might actually get in the way now. Took a while to get there visually, but not bad.

    Just my two cents.
