Chuck Asay sifts the events of the day through his biblical worldview and tries to persuade readers to see things his way...that rights are given by a higher authority than the governments of men, that mankind is not the ultimate arbiter of truth and that our Constitutional Republic is worth protecting. Chuck believes ideas, not politicians rule the world. He tries to protect ideas which he thinks are good and attacks ideas he thinks bring harm.

I don’t get it, are those Hippies in panel 2? Celebrate the fourth by threatening to shoot hippies? Jesus, recently dethawed from the 60’s lately?
Or do you really think that celebrating the fourth is simply about is all about whatever the topic of the day is? Oh, I get it.. You took two things that were happening and you simply mashed them together.. How convenient and it gave you an excuse to not be creative, in anyway way shape or form. Trust me, nobody whom celebrated the fourth was clutching their guns and looking out for hippies on their front lawn. It’s like you’ve taken a course in social engineering for dummies and still managed to fail miserably.
