   Tell you what… I will agree to support PBS if they will transfer the ownership of the commerial rights of all Sesame Street and Children’s Workshop’s collective works to the Gov.

   Save far more money, eliminate the “office of faith based initiatives”. Just ending federal subsidies to Liberty University, a private, religious college with a less educational program than Sesame Street, would save the taxpayers more money.

   Nobody wants to “kill” PBS. But if it can’t survive on it’s own, it should quietly go away. They have commercials and fundraising all the time. The government does not support NBC, CBS or ABC, so why are we supporting PBS? Stupid!

   I have to love it. Mitt says that he intends to cut funding to a business that the government has no constitutional role in funding, a business that is quite solvent without government funding anyway, and not only do you say he’s wanting to kill that business, you are also saying he’s wanting to for homophobic reasons. Start using your head to think with and not just as a hat rack, and reason your way through what you’re saying.

   Really? How much do those networks pay to the US Government for enforcing the laws that keep other people from broadcasting on their frequencies?

   How much do they pay for those frequencies?

    I agree with you on this one. From what I have heard, it’s biased against Wiccans and other “non-organized” religions. The Shrub set it up so he could give Federal monies to places like the one you mentioned.
