ok, Biden made a faux-pas, who’s never been clumsy? And it was not so over-the-top.

And apparently it wasn’t as bad as I had thought – FDR went on the radio as Governor of New York, so apart from the word “television,” it was accurate, much to my surprise.
    Oughta be an interesting debate.

“so apart from the word “television,” it was accurate,”

His mention of television was the ENTIRE REASON it was a gaffe!!! If McCain had said this you’d be having a field day.

I didn’t say it wasn’t bad. Just not quite as bizarre as I thought. Jon Stewart commented in an interview that Biden says genuinely weird things once in a while, and yet he’s hardly even noticed in this campaign.

Yes, he’s hardly noticed by the MEDIA. If that was McCain or Palin saying those stupid things they’d be all over it.

    He meant radio.
TGS I heard a piece on NPR about how the media is so used to his gaffes that they just don’t care anymore (reason not excuse).

Think I can accept “radio/tv” gaff a little easier than the Alaskan administration on the “lookout” for Putin.

Biden may have made a faux pas but people agree with his policies, and that’s what this election should be about.

Canada is not the US, but not so long ago, up here, Chrétien was monsieur pied-dans’yeule in person, probably worse than Bush. The term “chrétiennerie” was coined for him by Quebec separatists. Watched a military field through binoculars with caps on, put a peacekeeper helmet backwards told a reporter “Did you know, miss, that you could benefit from a parental leave? No? It is time, because you are quite beutiful, you know” and a retired man “Now that you’ve seen Ottawa, you can die”, name it, he’s done it. But he was not a bad prime minister. There were a few scandals at the end of his office. He had is bads, but he filled Trudeau’s shoes and ketp Quebec from seceeding.

Still, Biden made one gaffe, and this toon is an over exaggeration…

Let’s see, but I am sure that after 8 years in Government there won’t be hundreds of books and web pages talking about “Bidenisms” or “Obanisms”, like today WE DO HAVE about “Bushisms”…

It is funny. At least he says silly things off the cuff and has the brains to get it right when it counts. Quayle and Palin say dumb things and stay with them, wondering what all the fuss is about.

” has the brains to get it right when it counts”

Take a look at his voting record for the past 20 years on foreign policy issues and see why your comment it laughable at best.

HA! This comic is hilarious. I’m surprised he didn’t include Lincoln’s High Gamescore on XBOX Live, or Jon Addams’ Myspace profile. Great stuff!!!
