    Oh good, at last a response from a person who knows Bowe.
    Tell me, what was he like as he grew up that led to this? What first tipped you off that he was going bad?
    I seriously would like to hear from you since you have the knowledge to share.

    The opening scenes of “Saving Private Ryan” were controversial because the gave folks a hint of what really happens to troops in war, then showed the sacrifice necessary to rescue just one man.

    The hatred for Obama has dominated the perspective of the right, the very folks who weeks ago were demanding we rescue Bergdahl, then praised his release, for a few hours, until it became necessary to again go back to hating Obama. Bergdahl actually didn’t even enter into their thoughts and intent.

    Yeah, right, there’s no “haters” on the right, Cubie.

    Since Harleyquinn has said a lot of what I wanted to say I also have to add: why shouldn’t Americans be outraged that Obama broke the law? He never gave Congress the thirty day notice. He is using executive power left and right. Last I checked, that’s what a king does…

    De_Faulto: From the evidence of now no longer secret briefings, Congress has been notified for the last two years, at least.

    in the video the taliban made it sure didn’t look like bergdahl was at death’s door, more like coming down from some prime stuff.

    As just one example: check out John McCain’s statements regarding the swap of one for five, well known at the time, incuding the names of the five, on February 18,2014, then his post release statements. John was merely noting back then the deal was okay, not necessarily a scream for release, but others were.

    I don’t “hate folks” btw, but I AM allergic to stupidity, and tend to sneeze a lot around this current batch of ALLEGED Republicans.

    .
    The ease that some people are able to fabricate and lie their own narrative is just astonishing.

    About the Bergdahl trade? not until it happened. Normally they would be, but they most certainly weren’t. I don’t see how any of this is justified.

    And the Obamanation strikes again with yet another idiotic move. Just when you think he can’t possibly do anything more stupid he trades five dangerous terrorists for a mentally unbalanced deserter.

    @exoticdoc2

    He is judged to be mentally unbalanced within the military framework. The military, who are required to kill and destroy stuff in far off lands, and were reported by Bergdahl to have run over a child with a tank. Quite likely Bergdahl is more balanced, empathetic, and useful within a peace-loving nation than all of his military-loving detractors.

    .
    It has as much to do with the right hating Obama as it does the left worshiping him. The issue (to me at least) is why were the allegations of desertion surfacing AFTER his rescue.
