    Tell it to Cruz, he’s the minority representative that wants to hold the country hostage until he gets his way.

    Dude this is a two edged sword.

    Who is it that has not met the milestones in implementing this law?

    Who is it that grants “exemptions” for his buddies?

    Which group has said that it is a “train wreck”, “not ready for primetime” and “seriously flawed”?

    And yet the ONLY people that are REQUIRED to comply are the middleclass taxpayers.

    The HOUSE passed a CR to fund the government. No Obamacare since it isn’t “ready for primetime” yet.

    So IF the Senate – who have no authority to pass legislation that spends tax money – refuse to pass the CR that funds the rest of the government and INSIST that Obamacare – the train wreck – be included, then who is it that is NOT FUNDING the government?

    On Thursday, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said it was not rational to think the Senate will vote to defund Obamacare.

    And??? you do have a point right?

    But tell me why the Senate would not pass a CR to fund the government and not put the ACA on hold until they can fix it so it will work to benefit rather than have employers cutting the hours of full time workers, dropping coverage for spouses and retirees, making doctors reevaluate their career choice … oh yeah that’s right Congress and their Staffers are exempt

    All of this controversy could have been easily avoided simply by repealing People United. That gave corporations personage hood. They now run the government, with campaign contributions and promises of fat salary jobs as lobbyist. Who going to benefit the most them or the average tax payer. I’m betting it won’t be us.

    .
    Because the middle class taxpayer is the group this administration has been at war with. He’s hoping to annihilate what’s left of us and Obamacare is designed to accomplish just that.

    I have known many people who had stayed in a job just because they did not want to loose health insurance. Now that competitive rates are available to everyone, anyone can change jobs and still get health insurance at rates similar to what was only available to large employers. This helps level the playing field for mid and small businesses. The negotiation phase is over, folks.

    @Tigger

    Tigger, the ACA is the law of the land, duly passed by both houses of congress, approved by the supreme court, and supported by overwhelming vote of the people against those who would repeal it. The terrorists here are the ones opposing the will of the voters, of whom 80% in recent polls do NOT want a government shut down over the ACA.
