I seem to remember reading about this in the newspaper. That’s right! because the press reported on it. The cartoon lies. But if you don’t like Gosnell’s abortion clinic (and I don’t), remember that it’s the pro-Life movement that brought us here. Clinics without public assistance in poor areas are going to look like this. Back-alley clinics will be even worse. It’s not like we didn’t try outlawing abortion. We know how that will fail.

    Rodney, wrong again.
It took a Liberal columnist’s article to plant TNT under the Mainstream Lamestream Press to get coverage…for weeks the courtroom section saved for reporters was EMPTY.
    -
    And blaming :Pro-Life for a slaughter-house run for 31 years in the city, with authorities ignoring it and doing almost no inspections and paying no attention to complaints about it;
is exposing your bias, Rod. Planned Parenthood and Obama also ignore the killing of patients and born-alive near full term babies being scissored to slice their spinal cords through the neck….“collateral damage”?

    You are right, DT!
Rodney has his head buried in the sand. He must be a HUGE fan of Clay Bennett who blames everything on the Republicans. He must have blamed Republicans for his pimples when he was a teenager.

The Boston Marathon bomber killed only a handful of people. This butcher killed thousands. Why isn’t the lamestream media screaming for him to be executed?

    Sigh …

Wow. Between myths and lies, this thing has totally gotten out of control. The interesting thing is that Bok is so far behind the curve that he waited until the whole talking point was completely undermined until he took it up.
    .
Fortunately, there are enough delusional people around that he could do a cartoon about how they faked the moon landing and still find an appreciative audience.

They interviewed the edition of the NYT and asked why his paper had absolutely no coverage of the trial. He said in his judgement it wasn’t news. Even to him that sounded preposterous so they started minimal coverage. The WaPo belatedly has now gone all in. This has been gong on 30 years.

Why don’t you check the New York Times to find out what their covering instead of turning to Fox News, Glenn Beck, Infowars, etc.? I realize that’s a tall order for a well-informed conservative, but since I’m such a nice guy I’ll post the NY Times links so you can catch up on what they’re reporting about Gosnell instead of vomiting your brain on these message boards:

NY Times article covering the start of the trial (March 18) http://www.nytimes.com/2013/03/19/us/philadelphia-abortion-doctors-murder-trial-opens.html

NY Times article with ongoing coverage of the trial (March 23) http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/24/us/judge-throws-out-some-charges-against-dr-kermit-gosnell.html

(Haha! Just heard NPR covering the trial in the background too.)

… and by the way, shouldn’t a “libertarian” accept the choice the NY Times (a private publication) makes as a private enterprise? Or maybe we should pass a law requiring them to cover it so libertarians won’t get mad.

naw,my brother. It’s just that your logic/reality based brain has trouble grasping fluid concepts.

    What?

Oh yeah. Well, as in my case when my thoughts jump from one idea to another with no apparent connection yet there is one to me.

    Clear as mud?

I DID check the NYT. Between 1/1/11 and 1/1/13, they ran 5 stories about Gosnell: one announcing the charges, one stating that the death penalty would be sought, a story about how the clinic had avoided oversight, an announcement that some staff pled guilty, and a story about staff being fired from the clinic. There has been silence since October, 2011 until the trial opened on March 18, 2013. When the atrocities of Gacy and Dahmer were uncovered, the media did not sit idly by while the cases made their slow way thru the courts. Why do Gosnell’s crimes merit different treatment?
