    He’s not funded by them. He sold his share and is a free man now. And Al-Jazerra is not denying global warming (at least as far as I can see). Let’s wait and see what Mr. Gore is going to do in the future, then we can judge if this deal changed anything. My guess is a big, fat NO!

    Al Gore is just another typical American. Remember Lenin said “we will hang the last Capitalist with a rope we bought from the next to last Capitalist.” Americans hold the acquistion of material wealth as the highest of all priorities. they hold it above God, Jesus, family, and country. they would sell their children for the right price.

    A. Al Jazeera is a news source, not a refinery. If you’d check out something beyond TownHall and the Blaze, you might know what’s going on in the world.

    B. Whatever happened to the rightwing’s love of free markets? Oh, yeah, the free market is a great thing for us, not for you. Got it.

    Ignorant AND a hypocrite.

    @TJDestry

    Nothing ignorant except your comment here.

    Al Jazeera is a media network owned by the government of Qatar whose main source of wealth is oil and gas production.

    The sale of Current TV to them is a fine example of capitalism and conservatives have absolutely no problem with that aspect of the situation. It is certainly Al Gores right to sell his enterprise to whomever he wants.

    The controversy IS about hypocrisy. Even his peers have pointed it out.

    Yep, liberal green czar Al’s only interest in the entire subject was …wait for it ….. money. He IS one of the “rich” that you are supposed to hate. And is he going to pay his “fair share” of that profit to the public coffers?

    1) Pick a better country
    2) Move there (or stay there).
