What a crock of bleeep this cartoon is! As if it’s thoughts that get you in trouble. Bok must not be thinking.
Corrected toon:
Before a federal hate crimes law: “Die, bleeep scum!” as the victim is doused with gasoline and set afire.
After a federal hate crimes law: “Hate bleeep scum if you want to, but no longer will you be shielded from the law just by saying you only robbed him and you accidentally found him on fire.”
Amazing how the protection of victims is considered thought police. Bok, please do a cartoon on the Republican obstruction to anti-rape protection for victims of sexual abuse who are employees of DoD contractors.
Protection for them thru the judicial system is - what? - a crime against rapists? Those who think about rape/murder are not in trouble, fool.

This is stupid. We already consider motive in sentencing. A crime against someone solely because of their race, religion, orientation, etc., is actually a crime meant to instill fear in others of the same characteristics. Which is terrorism, plain and simple. Why is Bok against tougher penalties on terrorists?
