Sounds to me like Specter not only thought about, but felt he had a guarantee to keep his seniority.

The turncoat could always try to go back to the Reps.

The repubican party was going to back someone to replace him, so he was already out with the repubic’s.
It was in retaliation for voting with the demo’s 2 or 3 times.
He must have gotten a deal from the Demo’s, that he would not be seriously challenged, and he would vote their way when called on.
NO LINK, just my guess. wonder what dred says(stupid pie-rot.)

He lost standing with his “new” party when he said Coleman should be seated–not Franken.

He’s been given the chairmanship of a subcommittee on the Judiciary committee (Washington Post today May 8).

“I EARNED IT” … Sounds like Specter heard too many of those EF Huffon commercials.

It must be no different than if you worked for Company A for 30 years, and it gets bought out by Company B, and you start out as new, all over again.

It would be helpful if the artist had learned to spell–“swithched” –for instance. Also senorbullwinkle’s innovative “repubican” and “repubic”. Also, “Demo’s” doesn’t need an apostrophe…..
