"Chip" Bok has been the staff editorial cartoonist for the Akron Beacon Journal since 1987. Through Creators Syndicate, his cartoons appear in over 100 publications, including the Chicago Tribune, Washington Post, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Time, and Newsweek. He is also a regular contributing cartoonist for Reason magazine and serves as a member of the steering committee for The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press in Arlington, Virginia.

Agree with the sentiment of this toon entirely.
One should remember that the agencies/entities in charge of regulation enforcement are in the EXECUTIVE BRANCH. The government “experts” that are the Treasury and the Fed are also EXECUTIVE BRANCH.
Oversight of the regulatory agencies falls to the LEGISLATIVE BRANCH.
Look to who has been in contol of these BRANCHES for the past 8 years before casting any stones.
Oh, if you prefer your healthcare to be managed by an insurance company, might I suggest AIG?

They already run the most efficient health care system available in the US today - the program for government employees (including legislators). I’d jump at the chance to join that system. If any candidate were bold enough to say they would expand government health care to cover every citizen, they’d win in a landslide and everybody in the country would be better off.
