    He’s got a point there, that means we have to find better ways to make electricity; i.e. hydro, wind, hydrogen or even, for lack of a better source, nuclear. But among some people, there’s the idea that if it doesn’t make big, thick, black smoke, it’s a “sissy” energy.
    Usually these kind of guys meet a tough little b*st*rd who shows them what the little guy can do.

    Herbabee,
    You are so correct. It takes a lot of digging to come up with a sane forward looking plan to turn a hundred year old working situation around. It will take a lot more sacrifices than 4 dollar gas before this is reversed.
    Do not throw away your hand powered can opener, you may need it in the future to feed your self.
