    I can’t tell either, unless it’s supposed to be a variation on bangers (just not bangers and mash); but at least it’s not “Irish” soda bread with raisins in it. If anything, you put currants in soda bread; but authentic Irish soda bread has neither.

    I was going to guess it was Irish because of the cabbage and potates, but thought I’d look it up. This is pretty much a traditional recipe. It is made with sausage and a few of the recipes included bacon…which would make this so much better.
