    Wait, what? Is this pro-sign up or anti-sign up? Because the dumb@ss lickspittles of the insurance lobby have been saying hospitals don’t turn people away, but anyone with half a brain knows that, when uninsured people use the ER, they come in with more advanced problems that cost more to treat and that the cost is paid for by higher taxes and higher insurance rates.

    Which means asking everyone to pay a fair share in managing healthcare instead of making responsible people pick up the bill for health care freeloaders is a good thing. I’m going to guess this is intended to tell young people to join society and quit being sponges.

    But, Chan, you could have been more clear.

    I think he was clear enough. The Repubs have said “Repeal and replace.” Still haven’t said replace with what.
    Lately they’ve changed to modify (enhance? reconfigure?), but again, how?
    Every “plan” I’ve heard makes it easier for insurance companies, and harder for actual people. (Oh, wait! Companies are people too. My bad!)

    First, I don’t know how you figure small business owners are rich. Most of them survive on very small margins. Obama is scared (and he should be) that businesses are going to lay off a bunch of people & cancel the insurance they had through the company, throwing them onto the exchange at a much higher premium & deductible. Then the Dems will pay the price at the polls. The man is a lousy President but a very smart politician.

    People will still be using the E.R., because a lot of doctors are refusing to take the Obamacare insurance. Funny thing, they don’t want to work for nothing. I wonder why.

    And too, we’ve not yet gotten the “socialist” mantra from Overtaxed. I like to have popcorn and beer to enjoy the over-the-top wing-nut diatribes.

    @Tigger “extend the deadline for the 99% to buy Health Insurance or face a penalty ro March 31, 2017”

    Done.

    Now what is the next complaint?

    Insurance companies already do business across state lines. It’s called the Federal Employee Health Benefit Plan.
    So, since nothing else was mentioned, what ELSE do Repubs want?

    @Tigger

    He extended the Mach 31 deadline on everybody.
