This is a bad dream and I will wake up in a rational reality…

No, no, no, no, no, no.
God willing, George W. Bush ruined Jeb’s chances at this. Even if Jeb is “the smart one.”

Most historians rate George, jr as one of the top ten presidents. He liberated Iraq and Afghanistan from tyrannical dictators and made both nations into free, peaceful, and prosperous countries that everyone in the Middle East is dying to get into.

He ended the devastating depression in the price of oil and got it from $30 a barrel up to almost $150 a barrel, saving the fortunes of a lot of hard-working job creators (they need to create jobs to trim their topiary, cook and serve their meals, clean their mansions, etc., etc.).

After Clinton and Obama left America vulnerable and allowed the attack on 9/11/‘01, Buth, jr took office and prevented any more terrorist attacks throughout the world for his entire presidency. And he forced Osama bin Laden to go into hiding in Pakistan from where he could not engage in any terrorist attacks.

George, jr did a lot for the economy, getting out of the bankers’ way and letting them lead the nation to prosperity until Obama took office in ‘07 and forced the bankers to make the bad loans that caused the crash, loans they never would have made had Obama and Clinton not forced them to make those loans, loans they were not allowed to make while George, jr was in office.

I can’t see how Jeb could possibly be as good as George, jr, but if he could do half as much, it would be great for all the decent Americans who need an economy where people are willing, desperate in fact, to trim topiary and cook and clean for their betters.

Jimmy Carter had to deal with having a goofy brother, and so does Jeb Bush.

    Michale – Thanks!!!

We need more of these kind of thoughtful entries to wash away the anger and hate that fills to many of these comments.

    Humor clears the mind.

    And vice versa!

NGA – National Governors Assn. generated “Common Core” standards – adopted by 45 of 50 states (not Tx, Va, Ne, AK, Mn – who’da thunkit)…so YOU blame/credit Obama ?…typical !

    “Common Core was Obama’s brainchild”

Zero proof of that, pal. Common Core was brought about by the National Governors’ Association. The Federal Government has nothing to do with it.

Common Core was pushed by a lot of the same people who think teachers’ pay should be tied to test scores, not tenure.

The Bushes have been bag boys for the Houston oil corporations their whole careers. Those who have the money decide who will “run”.

Yes, but I play finger stye, mostly, and especially classical. I flat pick a little, but nothing like Norman Blake. I sing like a dying frog.

Any Republican that may have enough political muscle to run will be demonized as a preventive measure. To my knowledge Jeb has not made a peep about running and we already have a attack cartoon to protect Hillary.
