    So Chan Lowe thinks Snowden killed our liberty by exposing that we were being spied on? He feels we are more free if all our communications are being monitored?

    The more I hear about this guy, the more I think he had a grudge against someone. If he’s so damned concerned about the “truth” coming out, he needs to come back here and face the REAL truth! We, and Congress, have known about these programs for years. But when you give government power, don’t be surprised when it’s used! I’m really laughing at the Repubs who voted for this stuff and are SHOCKED, SHOCKED about it. They forget the other siude gets power as well.

    How exactly has he destroyed Liberty?
    This does not make sense.

    Computer tech sites have been writing about this for quite some time. Unless Snowden announced something that earth shatteringly compromised the NSA, I don’t understand why they’re after him.

    This is the same data mining that is done by corporations, political groups and anyone else with a buck.
    If the NSA wants to look at content, they need a warrant.

    And look at this other perspective:

    @ossiningaling

    “If the NSA wants to look at content, they need a warrant.”

    And therein lies the problem, ossingaling. Companies are sometimes giving the NSA and DOJ information on request, not on the presentation of a warrant.

    I suggest Chan get a dictionary so he can read the definition of liberty. When a corrupt government restricts our liberty, exposing the corruption brings liberty.

    Are you OK? You are actually making sense.

    “Why is Obama seeking to arrest him?”

    For the same reason Republican House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers and Republican Senator Lindsey Graham want him arrested, I suppose…for illegally revealing classified information.

    But has Obama said he wants him arrested? So far all I’ve read is that Snowden is being “investigated”. And the fact that you say Obama wants him arrested makes me suspicious whether he really does, given your track record.

    Speaking of track record, I see you’re still demanding information from others, while continually running away from questions directed at you.

    @edinbaltimore

    Maybe he could come back and face National Intelligence Director James Clapper and we could see who has the best truth about information on this matter.

    “…..early information is almost always bad information.”

    True enough. Look what happened when early information about Benghazi was passed on……

    Then he was smart to go to Hong Kong first…although maybe Ecuador would have been a better choice?
