   He says he want’s to have better education too, but seems to think “private enterprise” will be able to do everything better. He is wrong. The problems with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and “Obama Care” are almost all caused by making compromises with people who didn’t want the programs in the first place and who did everything they could to make the programs fail.
   .
   Most production and business is best left to private enterprise, but in fact, some things are better done by the government.
   .
   But people are making too much of that water bottle? Maybe, but what were they thinking? Why didn’t he have a glass of water on the desk in front of him? Just another case of Republican incompetence.

   I understand having a water bottle/glass on the podium, but is a water bottle a bit "arrogant’? Maybe his mouth was dry because he knew he was trying to sell a pig in a poke?

    Social Security was set up as a Private Account. It stayed that way until LBJ needed money for his ‘War on Poverty’ He looked over an saw the SS Account flush with money, he conned the then Democrat Controlled Congress into moving the SS Funds to the General Fund and promised to load the SS Fund box with IOU’s.

    Had LBJ not stolen money from the SS Fund, it would not be in trouble today
