Yep. Blue states have traditionally voted to help out Red states when they’re in trouble. Suckers!

Stealing from one to give to another isn’t compassion. Those drowning the rest of us in debt deserve to drown.

Those states are the ones that provide for the red states. Blue states pat in far more than theybreceive – red states are leeches that take more than they pay.

Not only do those states ALL receive less in federal spending than they send to Washington, their workers also are the people that you Reslugs ostensibly think generate all the jobs and build all the wealth for everybody else. Can you say “Wall Street”?

Sad to see all the people lose their houses. The ‘fiscal cliff’ was the mantra the media has been drumming for a month. The Sandy bill will be full of pork by dems to run up the deficit even more.

He knows that. He likes that that way. The r/w use double speak to confuse those that don’t want to look at the truth, or do any research beyond billow reilly or rush the entertainer.

Harley, I am an American, and I would rather see a bill to help my fellow Americans regardless of their political leanings. I do not like pork added either, but rather such a bill than no help at all.

Natural disasters can occur anywhere in this country at any time to anybody. And Americans do try hard to help themselves, but sometimes the results of such a disaster are far worse than local authorities can handle. I am glad to live in and pay taxes in a country where the people help each other, even with some amount of pork.

NPR story today about Seabright (?) a small Jersey Shore town whose yearly budget is $5 million. Their TRASH bill from Sandy is already $2 million! I suppose no Federal help is in order? Because we wouldn’t want to raise taxes! And they couldn’t raise them enough to cover this bill. But then they CHOSE to live there, so it’s THEIR problem, right?
