So true and so sad on so many levels.

Actually the cartoon is incomplete. In reality the mother would be on her smart-phone, endlessly talking or texting with someone while the child can’t get her attention. Just saw a couple (parents) a few days ago where BOTH were on the phone and the child was treated like a distraction by them. What do you think will become of a child brought up like this? I shudder to think…

I know! Seen parents walking their kids to school, all the while yammering on a device. Missing one of those opportunities they’ll never get back. So sad for them and their kids.

They turn into their parents, and then their parents wonder “what happened” and “why don’t we communicate anymore?”
