Thanks to all who have served and are serving in the military. Conservatives love you. Liberals…. well the comic says it all.

So I guess you would say FDR didn’t support the military…..

Unless I’m very mistaken, President Obama supports the military. Of course the phrase “supports the military” is pretty much empty — what does it mean to support the military? All too often people really mean “support militarism”.

Don’t forget the fact that Obama wanted service members’ private insurers to pay for their service-related health issues rather than the Veterans’ Administration.
[]
Never mind the fact that the reason why the VA paid for such things in the first place is because service-related injuries and illnesses are often so expensive that they’d cause a service member to hit their treatment cap, leaving them and their family shut out from any further medical treatment.

The Obamas are actually supporting military personnel and their families. Been doing a lot of stuff that occasionally makes the so-called " liberal" media. Liberals support the military by wanting to keep them home as much as possible. Conservatives support the military by cheer leading “preemptive”, unnecessary wars, flag-waving, and tearfully calling them “heroes” when they come home in a box. Then, to show further support, they cut social service programs that help disabled vets.

This is about Allen West, who lost in S. Florida.

Contempt for Allen West does not equal contempt for the military, unless you are using Republican math to make yourself feel better.

Let me see if I can make a broad-brush statement like the conservatives commenting here; Conservatives “support our troops” by putting a Chinese made magnet on their gas-hog suv.
Yep, that was pretty easy. No thought required.

Allen West was drummed out of the military, and now he’s been drummed out of Congress. Maybe he’ll blame it on those Communist voters. But of course he’s a hero to the right, just like Ollie North!

griks said no such thing. Are you paranoid, or what?

@HOWGOZIT
Howgozit seems to have forgotten that it was the Republican members of Congress that wanted to cut back on the support for the military health care and VA support. I see you have a military airplane as your symbol. I flew Phantoms for the Marines and spent almost 40 years in the military and four major conflicts/wars. What did you do to earn the freedom to criticize our government and Commander in Chief?

so griks saying (and I quote):[That’s a great attitude toward your fellow Americans on this day of thanks.
No go celibrate by killing some native Americans…]
Do you still maintain griks didn’t tell me to go kill someone? Does that make me not paranoid?
