Trickle down theory as put forth by the Reaganites has been an utter and complete failure, considering it was a total lie to start with. In truth it was trickle up, the top have doubled their income, everyone else has lost income power.
.
Will Rogers said during the Great Depression that “money was all appropriated for the top in hopes that it would trickle down to the needy.”

This is so sad I don’t even want to comment on it at length…

Frank Luntz should get a lot of credit for marketing the name “job creators” to replace the previous name “money changers.”

Two-dozen unelected American billionaires more or less control the entire GOP agenda. They’re worth the same as the 50,000,000 poorest Americans, who can’t afford to pay their rent let alone buy elections or candidates.

its simple physics… if you want to keep the economy flowing steadily… it would have to trickle ‘up’. because the rich make money while the middle class spends money… and the poor just try to survive. so if the money starts off with the rich… it will never trickle down cuz they don’t spend they just collect. The middle class will not be able to spend… and the poor will shit out of luck… Thus the flow would be stopped causing the economy to crash.
