    Speaking as a Vet of both Iraq and Afgan. you cant just back out with amont of epuipment and support we have in boh countires it would take 2-3 years to fully get out.

    The taliban hates the opium crop. If we left the opium production would quickly stop. It’s a necessary evil for them to pay for fighting us. There was no opium production in afghanistan before we invaded, even though it is traditionally a place where opium was grown.
