    Yeah, BCS, and feeding the military machine doesn’t result in any net gain whatsoever, just “Pork” shared in by the industrial providers.

    Infrastructure falls apart and the “machine” rolls on.

    “Now that polarity of US vs THEM is being played out by the opportunists as a religious war, Christian/Islamic instead of Soviets/U.S.

    Have to keep the war machine spinning at high RPMs with plenty of $ to feed the (chicken?)hawks and their constituents, wouldn’t be the same war-profiteering opportunities otherwise, Pakistan may be next on the agenda, Iran perhaps?

    We’ll continue to feed that war machine even as the infrastructure our economy is based on continues to fall apart, disaster capitalism at it’s best, what’s left of the Soviet Union must be greatly pleased.

    If McPain had made it into office I’m betting we’d have already crossed into one or both of those countries by now “Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran”, we all know the song.”

    Anyone who thinks air superiority is pork is a loon. Sorry, it just isn’t correct.

    You can throw Obamacare on the left panel, and all the Czars and comittees he gets to appoint to his friends on the right panel.

    At least, in the F22’s case, some of that money went to the private sector.
