Our Federal government would like us to believe that lie…they just haven’t pitched it to us yet.

Straight from the GOP playbook. Never call ‘em taxes, they’re fees. Pawlenty did it his whole tenure here in MN. Now property taxes are ridiculously high, services are ridiculously low and the state is STILL in the red. And now he’s going to ride off into the east for D.C.
Norm Coleman did the same thing as Mayor of St Paul. He put the city into tons of debt and then when the bill came due, he left.

^ As compared to the Dem playbook, which is to raise taxes AND fees.
Vote them all out!

Put toll turnstiles in schools, courts, DMV, clinics, but give tokens to registered democrats…that is the plan ala Obama.
PS the big fat guy should go to Haulover Beach…he will fit right in and may even find a boyfriend.

Fees are fine if you can opt out of them if you don’t want to use the service. Here in VA Beach, VA we have a rain-water run off fee. Which means we get taxed on the rain. I collect my rain water for irrigation but still have to pay the tax(fee).

NY just introduced a new power fee. Interestingly enough the revenue doesn’t go into power programs but right into the general fund.
