Chan Lowe's work has won several awards, including the Green Eyeshade Award in 1992, and second place in the 1996 John Fischetti Competition. In 1990, he was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. In 2000, he was awarded The National Press Foundation's Berryman Award.

The teabagging probably was started by the libertarians, but Faux News fanned the flaming wingnuts out in support. Some of the Republican commentators said that any sign of enthusiasm by these diverse groups was good for the party, so they backed the stunt, too.
I wonder how long this alliance will hold together without a Ronald Reagan as a linchpin.

What will the next gambit be?? The most potentially entertaining would be Rush ravishing one of the gorgeous faux news gals or I should say the female newscasters. Maybe Ann Coulter could do some tea bagging with Gov Rick Perry.
