Time for an intervention, before there’s a second or third cat.

    You mean it’s POSSESSSSSSSSSED?
    .
Had a cat “go bad” and while he’d been mild and pleasant, we were thinking that he’d cold-conked himself too many times. He would hiss at you for five, ten, twenty minutes. Ignored it for the most part, but when he went ballistic one time I ended up quieting him with a squirt bottle.
    .

(The dufuss bonked himself at least once on the glass door and once hit his head on an overhead board, knocking himself out. Brain trust, he wasn’t. We started calling him “bonk” because that was the sound his head made when he thunked his head on something.)

The Cat From Hell must be exorcised, immediately! —Maybe Donna too, just to be on the safe side….

jspiro (yesterday): “Why do I think this cartoonist does not like cats?”

Mona and Donna also have a creepy and unnerving next-door neighbor. Do you infer from that fact that Ms. Babcock does not like neighbors?

I’m not fond of cats as a species myself, but I find some cats more palatable than others. THIS cat seems the right cat for THIS strip, and is certainly of a recognizable “type.”
