Something else might work. Perhaps she could borrow Mona’s can of febreze.

Look at yesterday’s comment, Donna. Soap and water.

I could see her waking up and finding that Mona has written “wash me” in Sharpie on the arm.

Is there anything? Wash it in tomato juice? Rub it down with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer?

When I had shoulder surgery and it was more than two weeks for the plastic cover to come off, the gunk washed off easily enough. Just soap and water. It’s longer with broken bones (6 weeks), but those I’ve known who had broken bones cleaned up about the same. It’s leftover skin cells, sweat, and skin oils.

Personal hygiene doesn’t appear to be very far up the list of priorities in this toon.

Pure grain alcohol might do the trick. Don’t mean rub it on, drink it.

When I was eleven I had broken my right arm. It was a good thing that it was in early fall with daytime temperatures in the 90’s with a car that had no air conditioner when the cast was removed.. I could rest that shriveled, stinky thing on the open door window while the moving air could blow the smell away for the 30 minute plus ride home.
