   Naw, the stench is in the skin. It’ll take a while before the skin can completely air out. Best bet is to use an exfoliant to get rid of the hair that bacteria are attached to, rub the skin with a diluted bleach solution to nail any more bacteria, and then wear long-sleeve sweaters for a while.

   I’m not sure how long exactly the cast has been on, but the muscles in her left hand and wrist have probably atrophied, and trying to wash them with the other hand may be a bit tricky.

    Once the old skin is washed off it shouldn’t smell that bad. But deodorant can help.
