   Today’s Verdi’s birthday too. (Coincidentally, I just heard it on CBC.) So have that cookie dough Donna, and follow it up with some Coffee Heath Bar Crunch. Or as I like to call it, Coffee Toffee.

   Today is also the feast-day of St Angela, who founded the Ursuline order of nuns.

   Tomorrow (Jan 28th) is St Thomas Aquinas, the great theologian.

   Tuesday Jan 29th is St Barbea, who got up the nose of the emperor Trajan and was duly martyred with red-hot irons.
