Perhaps this means that Uncle Maurice will make a return to Mona’s dreams. The last time “See you in Hell” was said with such affection.
Mona: “Doctors still give him six months.”
Yeah. Well. Most of the time the dead are that way….
He must be all dead. “There’s a big difference between mostly dead and all dead.”
Kinda works that way
so is Francisco Franco…..
An “advertisement” some years back was against NC, or Natural Causes.
“It claims 9 of 10 people. Its N…C… Natural Causes. If you would like to support the fight about NC…”
But he’s getting better.
Aw, she put her clothes back on!
yep. only one exception we know of that is not in a grave somewhere. As attested by cynical roman governors, procurators, proconsuls, senators, historians, lawyers….It’s one of those fascinating things of history that Governor Pilate was so impressed by events that he wrote Emperor Tiberius a letter and Tiberius declared Christ “a god”. The original letter itself is lost to us, but in a later Senate proceding that we do have, lawyer Tertullian quoted from it and what the emperor had done.Considering what we know of Pilate and his frequent displeasuring of Rome by being too violent to his subjects and his subsequent “punishment detail” of governing Palestina whose leaders the Romans considered “ruthless”, it makes one wonder what it was about Christ that impressed such a hardened blankety-blank like Pilate..Also considering the nature of Rome, adding another god when they tended to value that which was ancient in beliefs, begs a question. What was it about Pilate’’s letter that caused Tiberius to declare Christ “a god”? It’s not like Pilate was in favor in Rome.
