    Michael didn’t push her. In fact, he’s not responsible at all, except in the sense that she was so eager to get away that she carelessly tripped and fell.

    In his entire run in the strip, I’ve never seen him do one negative thing beyond weirding people out. Jen treats his condition very sensitively.

    As we used to say back in the Olden Times, Pierre is cruisin’ for a bruisin’.

    The military used to call it “wall to wall counseling.”

    No. If she’d broken her ankle, that would be lame.

    Well, they say you’re completely fluent in a second language when you can make puns in it.. Pierre’s’ English must be pretty good by now!

    But her leg isn’t hurt just her wrist. So she isn’t lame at all.

    Anyone ever wonder why architects put the lights overhead in the stairwell, where you have to take your life in your hands to replace the bulbs?

    @Nabuquduriuzhur

    So you would rather have it in shadow or lights shining in your eyes every time?

    re: Night-gaunt.

    I think I’d either use a shielded wall sconce, or use the type of lamp that can be raised/lowered by a cord. If you’ve ever tried to change a lightbulb or tube at the top of the stairs…
