Since…? If Mona is thinking what I suspect she’s thinking…. “Oh God…” doesn’t begin to cover it!

Oh agony! What will Mona do to solve her crisis. She seems so powerless. It’s just not like her to be that way. She needs to decide whether to pursue her relationship with Ryan, or move on with her life.

… since the Big Bang, or even before God was aware of itself…
Anyway, M. Smokey will sleep well hugged…

Since Raoul back when Mona was a preteen geek in Paris.

It is better to have never loved than it is to have loved and lost.

I’ve read the archives, just can’t remember Raoul so well.
Mona wasn’t going to say since she’d met Lucas, was she?

Come home, Mona. Come home to your bunny.

Which makes this a breakthrough moment regardless of whether ever she sees Ryan again.

Mona is blushing in the last panel.
She probably hasn’t blushed since back then, either!

This storyline is wonderfully revealing of a side of Mona we’ve never seen, but it is moving sooo slooooowly. (And this is from a devoted fan of Prince Valiant!)

Why rush things? This is Jennifer’s comic and she’s doing a great job of telling her story. She’s not as long as Pibgorn nor as rapid fire as Calvin and Hobbes, so she’s well within the speed rates I like.
