I am the opposite of Cathy on this one. If I could get out of having to spend Thanksgiving with my boyfriend’s parents I’d be thrilled.
My hubby says he has the best MIL in the world. They adore each other! I have the second-best in-laws, I guess. They’re deceased. :)
When we were first married, we would spend Thanksgiving with my in-laws and Christmas with my parents. It was a great set up, everyone was satisfied with it. After 3 years, both my in-laws had passed away. I miss them.
