This strip was first produced in 2003. Smart phones didn’t exist yet.

At least this bozo saved us the trouble by performing the [eye-roll] himself.

HI, MOM. Good Morning, “Cathy” Clan.

Even though the term is out of date, the sentiment is still the same: no one ever bothers to read the instructions.

Sorry, I was so focused on the lower case “re:” that I got distracted from the rest of the comic… Don’t see that often.
True, argy.bargy… I know that I don’t read the instructions much. They’re either so poorly written that I can’t follow along, or they’re so elaborate that I get confused. I can usually figure out more by trying things on my own or by reading the section I’m having trouble with.

Good morning, Cathy clan! The kids are home with me another day – school was cancelled due to cold (no snow or ice here). Wow,! That’s a lot of snow! Hope your hubby is warm and dry now!

Probably not — they’re not treating the roads around here so nobody can get anywhere — stores are even closing.

Thanks lightenup — he thawed his toes last night, went to work today, and it took him 2 hours to get home. I did venture out to a ballet class this morning, but when I got home, I decided no more til they treat the roads with something. They’re telling us that salt doesn’t work at really low temps, but the areas they did salt (in front of the Court house, and one of the roads I took home) were perfectly fine — the rest — a block of ice. One of the other dancers got in a fairly bad accident on the way home.
