I know you’re stuck in that store for several more days, but really Cathy, just go find something that you’re comfortable in!

    Good morning, Cathy clan!
Sis , most likely it’ll be at the end of the school year, sometime over the summer.

Most stores don’t HAVE something that real people are comfortable in. which is why so many of us do our shopping online now.

I can shop for just about anything online, but NOT clothes! One size is definitely not the same as another, and I need to know how everything fits first.

Unitard? Isn’t that just a fancy name for a onesie?

    @O-Kay

A lot of the websites provide measurements to tell you what a particular size means in terms of waist, hip, inseam, etc. Just like the catalogues did (and still do, for those who still indulge in catalogue shopping. A big favorite this time of the year).

Cathy’s actually making sense? Something feels off with the world! Nah … good for you, Cathy.

Really busy week at work for me here, but I’ll try to check in periodically.

    HI, MOM. Greetings, Clan.

If Cathy wants baggy tops and pants to do yoga in, she doesn’t have to look any farther than the comfy sweat clothes currently located in her very own closet right now!

    Hi, rgcviper!

lightenup: Glad to hear you’re still going to be here with us in the good old U.S. of A. for a little while longer but the time will certainly fly by before we know it!

Hello and Happy Tuesday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone’s having a really great day today.

I agree with O-Kay in that I haven’t had much luck with clothes online. The only time I can buy clothes online is if I have bought from that store before and I know how they fit.

And the measurements don’t usually work for me either. I am between a M and a L in tops, but I’ve found that in some brands I can actually fit in a S, while others a L fits better. And don’t even get me started about pants. I am 6 feet tall, mostly in the legs, so I am always looking for pants that are long enough. About 6 months ago, I decided to buy a new brand, I read the measurements, read the reviews to see how the fit was, ordered them a size larger than usual, and they still fit strangely. Never again. I buy extra Target or Old Navy t-shirts online because I know how they fit, and I sometimes buy my kids clothes online from their favorite stores but that’s it. Maybe if I was a “regular” size, it might work, but I’m not.

    LOL, kaecispopX!!! Good one!

I agree with Cathy. Also, why is it so hard to buy woman’s pants? Why are the sizes so unpredictable?

    Seriously!
I can’t find a pair of women’s jeans that fit!

I have an old, fat, droopy body and the
“Pervayers of Pretty People aPparel” refuse to create a good looking jean that fits the “Average US Woman”.

I don’t think anyone is a ‘regular’ size for today’s clothing!

Thanks for the extra info on your relationship with Spain. Looks like it will be more of an adventure than a nightmare for you to live there for 3 years. I am quite sure your daughters will pick up Spanish quite quickly – the young do seem to learn faster when they need to.
