    It does add up, Cathy, but you also need something a little more intense than just a few seconds here and there. More like about 10 or 15 minutes a couple of times a day.

    Every little bit helps. And sitting at your desk constantly is a no-no. Get up and move your body at least every hour.

    Good morning, friends! We’re back from MD. It was a good trip. My mom’s still in a lot of pain from her surgery, so I’m glad we could help her out some. Hopefully she’ll feel better soon. And I got some things cleaned up and packed up. Not a lot of fun, but it has to be done.

    As I said on Monday . . . doing even just a little bit of something is better than a whole lot of nothing! A calorie burned off no matter how you do it is one less calorie stored as fat in your body so how can that be a bad thing? Just make sure you don’t stop at only one burned-off calorie though . . . because it’s really hard to lose any weight that way!!!!! ;-)

    Funny you should mention that. I downloaded an app that breaks down full exercise routines into 5,8,10 and 20 min. sessions,both full body and body parts and cardio. The workouts aren’t crazy and very doable. I’m gonna take it slow and work on improving my diet as well. Wish me luck,kids!

    Hope you had a magic marker with you so somebody knows what’s in all those boxes.

    my hubby has this habit of tossing whatever is in his way at the moment (all my clutter) into a box and shoving it somewhere. It could go in the attic or in 1 of 2 sheds or up in the garage’s attic. Then he’ll claim that he never saw (what-ever-it-is that I’m missing and needing) and was absolutely right there!

    And he won’t remember where he put the box of stuff he just put somewhere.

    And he, of course, will not have written anything on the outside of the box as to what is in there.

    GretchensMom – Hi there, sis!! I missed you too! Glad to have some time to myself again, although I do miss my mom. Never a happy medium, I guess… Hugs!!

    Teresa – I only packed things from the dining room, but I did label it. I knew I wouldn’t unpack them for a while (I need the dining room furniture first), so they definitely needed labels. Now I need some energy to organize my increasingly crowded house. Eek. :-)
    Your husband sounds a bit like mine. I think my hubby would love to do what yours does, but I hate that so he has given up on that dream. LOL! I hope you can keep one step ahead of your hubby!
