Cathy: Chocolate! No! Remember your new food plan! You're doing so well!! Shoes! No! Remember your new budget! No more shoes!! Chocolate. No! Food plan! Shoes. Budget! Chocolate. Food Plan! Shoes. Budget! Another exhausting day spent thinking "out of the box."
You don’t need the new shoes, Cathy. You just bought 6 new pairs the other day (not to mention the new boots and whatever other pairs of shoes you bought LAST year!) . . . how many more can you possibly “need” anyhow?! If you really MUST break either the diet or the budget, then choose the diet and eat the chocolate (if you can stop with just ONE piece, that is!). A little bit, maybe once a week, probably won’t do a whole lot of damage to your diet in the long run and it would definitely be a lot cheaper on the budget than yet ANOTHER new pair of shoes would be!
Hi, rgcviper!
Susan: Love your “two-track mind” comment. That’s exactly what I was thinking myself!! Shoes and food. Food and shoes. Those are two of Cathy’s three biggest weaknesses in life (the third being a clothes shopper . . . and they’re UGLY clothes too)!!!!! ;-)
Hello and Happy Thursday, fellow “Cathy” fanatics. Hope everyone’s having a good day so far.
