At $147 for the Capris, the accessories would total around $500. The total manufacturing cost in a sweatshop in China is probably around $5.

All together now: EYEROLL! (Wish I could put it in bold.)

Nonononono!! You took potentially cute capris and turned them into part of a clown costume!
    I’m with you, Shyygirl… EYEROLL!!

Happy Friday, Cathy friends!! Have a wonderful weekend! We’re going to another cheerleading competition (groan), so I won’t “see” you until Monday (maybe Sunday night).

p.s. Shyygirl – to get bold, surround whatever you want bolded with asterisks (*)

Once again, Cathy — the IRS does not care how much you spent on clothes last year. That is not now, nor has it ever been, an eligible itemized deduction! EYE ROLL THAT CAN BE SEEN FROM SPACE

Cathy must make more money than I thought if she bought $150 capris in 2001 and can even consider spending more than that on “accessories” for them. Buy several more heart-embellished sweat shirts, Cathy. You look better in them.
    Happy Friday to the Clan!

Only if you require uniforms for work and must pay for them out of your own pocket. Then, they can be deducted.

$147.00 for a pair of floral capris?!? OMG!!! Someone PLEASE slap that woman upside her head and confiscate her wallet because she’s an absolute menace to herself. No wonder she’s always broke! And all the mismatched accessories she’s got on to go with them? Well, don’t even get me STARTED on that!!!!!

    B/t/w: just last summer, I picked up a new pair of capris at K-Mart for about $7.00 and hated paying that much for them! Granted, they were a sold color and not a cute FLORAL print . . . but still. $147.00!!!!! AACK!!!!!!!!!! {eyeroll so HUGE it’s making my brain hurt!!!}

    Hi, rgcviper!

lightenup: Good luck to your little one at her cheerleading competition this weekend! “See” you on Monday!!! ;-)

Hello and Happy Friday, fellow “Cathy” nuts! Hope you have a great day and an even better weekend! :-)

    Oh my goodness!
All this time I’ve been putting a ‘<’, then a ‘b’, then a ‘>’ to get bold typing. Stopping the bold typing required a <, a /, then the b, then the last >.
The asterisks had stopped working for me last year. I’ll start again, the easier way.

Ah, but there’s not one thing that Cathy’s ever bought that would even remotely meet the definition of a “work uniform” – and Cathy’s taste in clothing wouldn’t pass for standard office attire even in 2013, let alone in 2002!

I want a part of the group [eye-roll], too. AND, I’ll throw in an “AACK” for good measure.

    HI, MOM. Happy Friday, Clan.
