Mom: Want a mashmallow peep? Cathy: No. Too disgusting. Mom: Me either. I will force myself to eat one strictly for cosmetological purposes. The marshmallow peep reconnects us to childhood. Cathy: When we reconnect to childhood, the brain releases a "youth" enzyme. Mom: The enzyme reactivates the actural physical responses of a young body! Mom/Cathy: As the peep dissolves into the system, feel the wrinkles and fine lines diminish...feel the signs of aging reverse...feel the cell regeneration... ! ...Not on my hips!! The new cells were supposed to regenerate on my face!!! Mom: What we endure for beauty... Cathy: Shall we move on the peanut butter eggs?
Happy Easter Cathy Clan! Can someone please explain to this Southern Hemispherian why marshmallow shapes are called ‘peeps’. Is the word short for ‘people’, or the ‘peep’ noise that little birds make? Or is it maybe an acronym of Processed Edible Ectoplasmic Particles?
