   Good morning, Cathy clan!! What a weekend… Jr got a cast on Friday and then was in a state chess tournament yesterday where she won all 3 of her games. Wow! Just 2 more days of getting ready for the in-laws, but unfortunately I can feel a big cold coming on. Ugh.

   Good afternoon Cathy clan!! Sorry about Jr’s cast lightenup but congrats on the tournament. We had a busy weekend as well, my oldest daughter competed in the regional spelling bee for the 3rd time and we had a little party for my youngest daughter’s birthday yesterday.

   Good luck with the in-laws and feel better soon. :-)

   For once, it’s GOOD to see Cathy acting like her mother! I’m glad she breezed right on through without buying anything but I don’t know what she’s even doing there to begin with because she’s in debt enough as it is . . . not to mention that she’s got more clothes, shoes and other accessories in her closet than most women I know! Given that, how much more could she possibly need?!?

   Ah yes! I find myself starting to give advice to my 15 yr old granddaughter, and have to tell myself NOT to open my mouth, as I recall my Mother correcting MY daughter, which did not make me happy. Still miss her tho!!

   @ GsMom – I’m hanging in there. I’m pretty impressed with what I’ve gotten done, but I am also pretty exhausted. I’ll be glad when tomorrow is over and I can rest for a couple of days. Thanks for your words of encouragement and advice!

   Congrats to jr — Wow even with a cast!! We had a wild weekend — went to Cleveland to see a folk singer Tommy Sands who was at the end of his US tour before going back to Ireland — it was a fabulous concert. Then out for a local folkie Kitty Donohoe in Lansing, MI on Friday night — great Irish music. Then to hear Dan Hall in Flint MI on Sunday night — more Irish music. We also took in an art movie on Saturday night “Lore” — excellent!! So, we’re Irished out, but we had a great time!!
