They rarely come out with studies about the ill effects of alcohol because studies like that don’t sell. But the fact is that alcohol is more damaging than you might think.

A belated Happy Valentine’s Day to the Clan — sorry I missed y’all yesterday. Friends here always warm the heart.
I remind myself of the benefits of chocolate every time I pop some into my mouth (even when it’s not dark chocolate!).

hendelca: So sorry about your friend and I’m very glad to hear you’re finally starting to feel a little better. It’s so difficult when you lose people you care so much about, isn’t it? My dad has been gone 10 years now and not a day goes by that I don’t think of him. So many times I’ve seen something online or on t.v. that I think he’d really appreciate knowing about and I’d be just about ready to pick up the phone and give him a call when I remember I can’t do that anymore. While I may not be able to talk to him physically, I can still do it in my heart and mind and I always hope that, if it’s at all possible, he can still see, hear and feel me talking to him anyhow — and that he knows I’m doing okay.
