I don’t waste time on “fake” chocolate. 100% full-fat, full-calorie, real sugar, yummy dark chocolate for me!! :-)

Hello nutty Cathy clan! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!!

GretchensMom – Not sure if you saw my post the other day… I said that Pinterest images support a resolution of up to 600 pixels wide (height is more generous).
Does it help to trim the comic down a little to meet Pinterest’s requirements?

I agree. I don’t eat chocolate often, I’m actually semi-allergic but when I need a little taste it has to be the real thing!

Good morning fellow Cathyites! Enjoy your day!

I’m like that on anything low fat or fat free. Most of them taste terrible so why bother? I’ll just have a smaller portion of the real thing.

I bought some sugar free fudge once…… once! Something was missing. Oh yeah the sugar. Tasted awful. I’m with you. Have the real thing only in smaller portions.

Hi, lightenup! Yes, I just now got done reading all the “Cathy” comics and comments I’ve missed since I was last online Friday and saw your previous Pinterest messages to me. I have an HP Microsoft Windows XP laptop computer that is 7 years old (and slow as the hills, I might add). I freely admit that I’m the “Queen of Computer-Stupid Land” and don’t understand much about them and how they work beyond just the absolute basics — which works just fine for me in a majority of the circumstances I use it for. It’s the smaller, more intricate, things I don’t know how to do with them that really throws me off when I come across them (like this, for example). How can you tell how many pixels wide something is if “they” don’t tell you? When I click on a comic (like this one, for example) in order to “view the image”, the comic comes up in another window but doesn’t give any information about it at all. Or am I doing something wrong? And how do you trim the comic down in an effort to make it fit the requirements? See?! I TOLD you I don’t know how to do anything where computers are concerned!

    ;-)

Since I can never stop at just one of anything that’s chocolate because it’s like crack to me (especially M&M’s!), I find it best to remove all temptation and simply not keep it in my house at all. It’s really rough because I love it so much but for the sake of my ever-perpetual diet . . . I gotta do what I gotta do!!!!!

    Hi, rgcviper!

Hello and Happy Monday to all my wonderful “Cathy” friends. Hope everyone had a really nice weekend!

I dd taste some sugar free ice cream with chocolate swirls in it (in a code and in a sandwich). My buddy, who was diabetic, bought them and when I brought supper over he shared the ice cream for desert. It actually tasted very good. However, I agree, most artificially sweetened chocolate is not worth tasting.

Been fairly quiet around here lately. I think my comment last week was one of the only ones that required a click for more to see it. Hope all my Cathy friends have a good week.

:-) Well, I should have tested a couple of things before I said that, first of all… So I just saved the Procrastinator comic as an image on my computer and looked at it, and it was 600 pixels wide. On my Mac, if I right click on the name, and go to Get Info, it was there. On a PC, I’m not sure, but try this:

open up the file that has the images in it in windows explorer. Click on details in VIEWS dropdown menu. Then just mouse over the image and give it a couple seconds – you should get a popup bubble that gives the pixels on both length and height as well as date and type of file it is.

Anyway, it is 600 pixels wide if I saved it, which should work. So that leads me to a couple of questions:
    - if you can find out how many pixels it is on your computer, that would help
-how much of the comic does Pinterest cut off? If it’s not much, I can trim it a little, but then we have to figure out how to get it to you.
    - Speaking of, I guess I should figure out a website for all of us to converse on. Who was it who suggested something in December? I can create a free website using WordPress, but would have to figure out the least painless way to give everyone the ability to post. Everyone might have to create a login or register, which is fine with me so that I (or someone else) can monitor. Thoughts?

And now that I put in “Cathy comic” in the search part of Pinterest, it seems that a lot of people have put one panel for people to click on which leads them to the full comic. Maybe that’s what needs to be done. I can trim it if you need me to…

Sometimes, when I especially need chocolate to keep from killing somebody, I nibble on a square or 2 of baking chocolate, no sugar in it and 30 calories. It would work better if it weren’t so hard to bite off, but it does work.

    I’d say that a classic [eye-roll] should suffice here—if I weren’t such a chocoholic myself!

    HI, MOM. Greetings, Clan.
