Newlyweds Cathy and Irving navigate the treacherous waters of couple-hood. From pampered pets to prying parents, they’ve got a lot to learn! Wedding or not, it’s still all about Cathy - she personifies the young career woman and her typical daily obstacles. Ice cream, panic attacks, stress and love are all in a day’s work. We read, we identify, we laugh. Who could ask for more?
Cathy is the Everywoman. She deals with diets, self-esteem, in-laws, and letting her husband know that she is the boss. Everyone can identify with her shopping, bills, taxes, planning for the future and coping with her husband’s incessant computer golf games. Whether you are a newlywed, single, or have been married for decades, all will enjoy the daily predicaments of Cathy and Irving.

I’m pretty good on the computer and my husband is also in IT so we’re just fine. I’m sure it’ll be natural for my kids, probably the same way working on a car was natural for my parents (when cars were more straightforward).
Hello nutty Cathy clan!! The Falcons lost yesterday (I"m more of a Redskins fan, but the Falcons were my second choice), so I guess I’ll root for the Ravens now. Have a great day all!

I’ll have to try to see if I can get Sunday strips on Arcamax.com from now on.

My husband doesn’t know ALL there is to know computer tech-related problems but he’s pretty good at finding the answers if he can’t figure things out on his own. One of his favorite sayings is: “Google is your friend!” ;-)
catsarge10: I went to the DCFD.com website you mentioned and tried to do a little more sleuthing on my own but came up with nada. lightenup was right: I went to the 6-4-2012 “Cathy” board and found Dr. Billy’s message regarding Aaron’s overnight accident so I did a June 2012 search (at DCFD.com) and couldn’t find any mention of what happened that night to either Aaron or Gabe — not even under their incident archives listing for that month and year (the earliest listing I could find was for June 5th). How can this be when his squad serves the Capital Hill area? It definitely should have been there! The search goes on, I guess!!!!!
Hello and Happy Monday to all my nutty “Cathy” friends. Hope everyone had a really nice weekend.

Yeah—I’d go with tech support. Or in Cathy’s case, maybe the Nut-house.
I got a response from GoComics about the lack of Sunday strips here. It only said that they’re aware of the problem and working to fix it. So, no immediate resolution, but hopefully soon.
HI, MOM. Thanks to you, and all, for your efforts to find our friends Aaron and Billy. I really hope we learn SOMETHING about them soon.
Hope you’re having a nice long weekend, Clan.

Hi Cathyites!! Thanx rgcviper, I too wrote GoComics and they said it is a technical problem, they know about it and they are working on it. Um, how long does it take — we haven’t gotten a Sunday Cathy comic yet this year. Maybe if THEY call Irving…

Aaak! Real problems reading the strips today. It seems gocomics pointers in alphabetic order are messed up – takes me to their game site. Having to scan all comics to get all the ones I read. May give up now that I got to the most important one!

Hmmm – better clarify that. The links between the strips work fine – it is the A-Z list that isn’t there.
