Newlyweds Cathy and Irving navigate the treacherous waters of couple-hood. From pampered pets to prying parents, they’ve got a lot to learn! Wedding or not, it’s still all about Cathy - she personifies the young career woman and her typical daily obstacles. Ice cream, panic attacks, stress and love are all in a day’s work. We read, we identify, we laugh. Who could ask for more?
Cathy is the Everywoman. She deals with diets, self-esteem, in-laws, and letting her husband know that she is the boss. Everyone can identify with her shopping, bills, taxes, planning for the future and coping with her husband’s incessant computer golf games. Whether you are a newlywed, single, or have been married for decades, all will enjoy the daily predicaments of Cathy and Irving.

Yeah, it would be good to get Sunday strips again. I love seeing extended Cathy in full color. :-)
Hello Cathy clan! Hope you all are having a lovely Sunday! I saw an article recently about how we should return to the Sundays where we didn’t do any work (i.e. it really was a day of rest). Love it!

For what it’s worth, I just sent a message to GoComics telling them about the lack of Sunday strips here—and how the Sundays are just black-and-white versions of the next day’s edition. I’ll let you all know if I hear back.
Still really missing Aaron and Billy … hope to see them here again soon.
HI, MOM! Happy Sunday, Clan.

P.S. Not sure if you all read the “Overboard” strip here on GoComics, but today’s had a line (in the first panel) that I thought you’d enjoy.

I agree with your comment about Sundays. That is why I usually escape out of town that day. Then I am not tempted to get back to the computer and do ‘just a little’ work.
My schedule is all messed up these days. Now that the work restoring our basement after the flood is complete, I spend more time than I should putting everything back in place instead of earning a living. Yesterday was the most fun – put all 32 boxes (1600 lbs worth) of books back on the shelves in the library. Since I am feeling a little stiff today, I am going do to some computer work on my day off.
I hope everyone has a good Sunday today.
rgcviper Great reference to our favourite ‘person’. Thanks for the link.

@washingtoneagle
Welcome, washingtoneagle!! So glad you joined us and we’d love to hear from you anytime!
It is definitely lonely without those guys and I think about them a lot. Wish they could know about all the talk about them and check in… :-(

Hi Cathyites!! Yup all of us are missing Billy & Aaron. Sad that we don’t know what happened there.
I’m not only getting a black and white weekly strip for Cathy on Sunday and then a repeat on Monday, but I’m also getting a very distorted Saturday strip — which is stretched almost to the height of a Sunday strip. When I click to comment, it is normal, but the one that first shows up is really elongated. I’m also not getting my comics at all until late in the day — when I used to get them in the wee hours of the morning.
As for the comic, I agree — who has the time to figure out how to use all of this technology — I sure don’t. But kids do, and that’s why they are so much better at it than we are.
