    Thank goodness my mother and I don’t have a relationship anywhere near like this! I try to watch out for her as best I can because she’s 76 years old and as naive and trusting as they come but I don’t try and force my opinions on her if she doesn’t want them and she does the same for me. I’d say we’re both just too old and set in our ways to put up with that kind of nonsense from each other! Makes for a much better mother-daughter relationship that way.

    Dr. Billy: I don’t have a Kindle Fire, tablet, smart phone or any other new-fangled electronic gadgets to get Amazon Prime on. Can I still get it on just my ordinary 6-year-old, slower-than-molasses HP laptop instead???

I woke up around 8:15 a.m. with a real Homer Simpson “D’oh!!!!!” moment when I realized that yesterday I wished you safe travels to Spain when I should have said Paris instead!!!!! My apologies! Short of getting older and not wanting to admit that out loud(!), I’m just going to blame my poor memory on a snoring husband and cable t.v. deprivation / withdrawal symptoms instead!!!!! ;-)

    In theory, you can watch Amazon Instant Videos from anywhere. We’ve watched only on our iPad, and only a small handful of times.
    
    Since we’re a Mac household, we can take videos and music from our iPhone, iMac, and Macbook laptop and push it to our TV via our Apple TV streaming box. Since our TV is also hooked up to speakers, it’s awesome.
    
    Netflix and our TV is the best combination though. Mostly our den looks like Nasa Operations. And unlike Nasa (probably) we get popcorn. :-D
    
    Our main benefit to spending $79 a year for Amazon Prime is 2-day free shipping on all of our orders. It pays for itself in a couple months.
