Cathy: You look great, Irving. Irving: Thanks, Cathy. You too. Cathy: In what way? Irving: Trick question! Cathy: Notice anything different about me? Irving: Um...Wow! You've lost weight! Cathy: No! I'm not even thinking about my weight! Didn't you notice?? Irving: You look thinner! Really! I noticed! Cathy: I'm not looking for size-based compliments, Irving! I've evolved beyond caring about "thin" or "not thin"! Irving: Um... Cathy: I've achieved a vibrant, well-balanced state of being!! Irving: Um..Um... Cathy: You're supposed to notice my new CONTENTMENT!! How could you not notice my new contentment?!! Irving: Every year it gets more dangerous to be a man... Cathy: Which part of me looks thinner?
Thinner on brains maybe, but that’s it. Cathy, you make my head hurt. Not even your mom is going to look at you and say “My, how content you look.” Irving is heading for home vs to the men’s room.
Morning Susan — Sunday’s Cathy seem to be independent of the rest of the week, so chances are that Irving is still bald.
Beauty of a day out there, a good 10 degrees cooler than yesterday. LMB and I are going to the park to play soccer. Hello fellow Cathyites. Is it nice where you are too? :-)
