    She really needs a night out with Randy Travis. Take her mind off the little things. And soon!

    Marriage should be open and honest, so it should be a lot simpler than that. And when Irving marries you years from now, Cathy, believe me he’ll already be well warned and should be prepared.

    Good morning, artybee, Aaron and Susan!
    Hello to GsMom, KFG, Billy, rgcviper, lindz.coop, hendelca, Mona, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, gmforde, soonergal, lippyfish, Mai Tai, Willi Nilli, mollie, AnonaMona, Bronzepony, simpsonfan2, tegm, legaleagle and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today!

    Do yourself a favor, Charlene—you and Simon just spend a quiet evening home.
    ALONE!!!
    Good morning, Aaron (did LMT wake you yet?), Drs. Billy and KFG, Lightenup, GsMom, and the rest of the “Cathy” nuts.

    Good Morning fellow Cathy nuts. Too many choices will do that to you. I’ll bet she is late getting there after obsessing over all that and she will not be invited to dinner again.

    Next will be a call to her mother to whine she has nothing to wear .

    Cathy, turn around and bend over. I wanna kick you in your obsessing butt. What a nut job!!

    Morning Susan yeah LMB woke me just after 6:00 instead of 7:00. We were having a thunderstorm. He doesn’t like those. Morning lightenup day 2 of home alone. Are you insane yet? :-D Morning / afternoon friends and readers far and wide.

    Hi Mom!

    All that obsessing over what to wear is a complete mystery to me! It’s only in the past three or four years that I’ve got around to having more than two pairs of shoes at a time, only to be replaced when they fall to bits.

    As for the mountains of goodness-knows-what all over the floor . . . why isn’t there a dog having fun in the middle of it all?

    I see I’m not the only one who has a dog who doesn’t like thunderstorms! Our bichon sleeps right through them, and the poodle thinks the storm are after him! And if I had the pile of clothes on the floor that Cathy does, my dogs would be right in the middle of it!

    My daughter’s floor looks just like that after she gets ready for a date! Hello, Cathy fans! I’m a “lurker” who has finally decided to join the fun. My name is Cathy and I kind of grew up with this Cathy and hate to admit that I’m more like her than I want to be! But you can’t really tell by my demeanor, thank goodness!

    An achievement? Um, no. A miracle? Um, no too.

    0.0 (That’s me staring blankly at Cathy’s nonsense.)

    Hi Mom! :-D

    Hullo catsarge10 wow our family is growing . . . without the umpteen hours of labor that it normally would take. Hullo fellow Cathyites. ;-)

    Now I am really losing it. Not only do I forget to read today’s strip before I read the comments, I am starting to reply today on yesterday’s board. So now I have to repeat myself:

    @Aaron
    You are partly correct – I am in Ontario but we are in the Eastern time zone. Our Cathy family does include a lot of timezones!

    @AnonaMona
    Glad I am not the only night owl here – although I usually get off the computer sometime between 1:00 and 2:00 and curl up with a good book for another hour or so. What work do you do that enables you to work at night too?

    @hendelca

    Hi hendelca! I call it work, but really it’s just hobbies that have taken over my life . . .

    I do a lot of family tree research, for myself and for friends, and lately (about three years now) I’ve expanded into writing and publishing fiction. Both of these activities, I find, are best done at night when there are no interruptions.

    Well, that’s my excuse anyway! But I’ve always preferred to write through the night, even during the years when I did it only for myself. (I don’t think I’ll admit to how many years.)

    I think really I’m just anti-social . . .

    ;-D
