“Hello. This is Mastercard. We’re calling your mother. Boy are YOU in trouble!” Cathy has the most complicated simple life of anyone, with the exception of Irving and possibly her mom.

I live in a NYC apartment, and all my plants and flowers are fake, although they do look remarkably lifelike.

When I have too much on my mind THIS is what it looks like. Aaron told me so. He peered in through my ear and saw all that blocking up my senses.
Mom! we made the coffee cake this morning. We four ate half of it and company throughout the day made all gone with the rest. Definitely worth another try on your part, with our helpful hints and your instincts (re: flouring the pan, for example).
Hello fellow Cathyites. KFG Aaron and I both have green thumbs, though we like greenery more than florals, but we’re pretty good with color lately. Nice to know you have the sense not to spend $350 and go overboard :-)

Fake plants are sooo much easier to take care of. I have fake flowers in my house, which means the cats don’t eat them (although sometimes they chew on them a little),a nd when the cats knock them over, it doesn’t matter (no water or dirt spills).
