Ok so Cathy only knows how to lose friends??….that’s kinda sad……Irv you can lose all the weight if you live on water and sunshine..hee hee…..Hello all ye Cathy nuts! I just try to eat healthy…..but I do love seafood pasta..yum!……..and HAVE to have something with chocolate everyday…….well actually lately it’s been organic black licorice yum!……oh look- second post!……lol……sorry I couldn’t resist :)

Friends sometimes try to sabotage those on a diet. You have to beware…“you look too skinny” , when you know your clothes are too tight. Heathy eating is a good thing!! Little treats now and then shouldn’t hurt too much. Morning all you Cathy crazies have a great day I’m just going to bed…great day at the beach and the pool today and back to the beach tonight to build sand sculptures with the 3 kids in our group.

mollie, you’re right although those type of people aren’t really your friends. Those are more your frenemies (enemies disguised as friends). I’m about average size, but have recently lost about 5 lbs. One of my (true) friends sincerely complimented me and asked me what I’ve been doing. She is really sweet and this only confirmed that.
Anyway, sounds like you’re having a great time at the beach!

Heck no, not critical, in a mean way. We who pick on her love her enough to be here every day guiding her along. It gives us an excuse to exercise our eye rolls and our funny bones. A secondary benefit is we of like minds can be a little community that encourages laughing and friendship. Come and play with us. It really is all in fun. And besides, Cathy isn’t going to be critical of herself. She’s my favorite little nut job. :-D

I have absolutely no problem at all believing she doesn’t lose pounds on diets — just friends (not to mention her mind too!). I think it’s about time she finds a better, more loyal class of friends to hang out with. Meanwhile, if Paula Deen of all people can go on a diet and lose 30 pounds despite the way she’s always cooked and eaten, then absolutely ANYBODY can do it!!!!!!!!!!

Aaron: Sorry! My bad regarding the NH/shore mix-up yesterday! Now why did I just automatically assume you were headed to the beach for 2 weeks??? I went back and re-read Dr. Billy’s post on Monday to see again what he said regarding your upcoming trip and, sure enough, there was absolutely NO mention of going to the shore so I have no idea why I jumped to that conclusion. Are there going to be apples to pick in the orchards while you’re there? If so, be sure to eat one for me! Or, better still, bake some in a pie! I just love . . . love . . . love apple pie!!!!! Oh, Great!!! Now all I’m going to be able to think about the entire rest of the night is apple pie and how much I’d really like to have a nice big slice and there isn’t any in the house right now!!!!! Oh, well. Hope you both have a restful, enjoyable trip!!!!! ;-)

Just a quick note for me… lots to do tonight! We’re leaving early in the morning, so not sure when I’ll log in again. I’m not bringing a laptop so I’d have to check in by phone. We’ll see how this goes…
Anyway, also wanted to tell DOGLOVER8 that we really do enjoy this comic. We must because we come back every day to see what Cathy’s latest issue is and because we think her foibles are funny. We love Cathy like we would a crazy great-aunt, and out of that, we’ve all come together to make this a friendly place to hang out. I know we also root her on when she is being rational, and we understand that she’s only a comic exaggeration of many of our own personality traits.
If I’m not able to log in on our trip, “talk” to you all after July 8!! Stay cool!
