   Cathy got married!? When did this happen? I thought the whole point of the strip was her trying to get a decent guy. Sorry, haven’t seen this strip in years ;-)

   Valis616, she married Irving some time ago. They’ve already done the Christmas/Thanksgiving alternating relative thing a couple of times even.

   Yeah … Cathy and Irving got engaged on Feb. 14, 2004 … and were married Feb. 4, 2004.

   I’ve been reading Cathy sine the mid ’90s and love the direction the strip has gone.

    One thing that might help Cathy stay on a diet is the knowledge that fat, balding, middle-aged men can always get a 20’s blonde with a great figure as a mistress, but an overweight woman will have to tie pork chops around her neck to get the dog to play with her!
